Bio
Personal trainer Sam Gomes brings more than 6 years of experience and is multi-certified through NASM, one of the nation’s leading programs for fitness coaches. Sam specializes in corrective exercise through NASM, as well as nutrition through the Precision Nutrition PN1 accreditation. Sam trains clients of all ages, abilities and interests, and has a special affinity for those with special needs, having helped clients diagnosed with Parkinson’s and Autism with their fitness and health needs.
Sam makes workouts fun, yet effective. His training combines the latest findings in exercise science and research with time-tested methods. Sam’s ability to help clients extends from strength and conditioning to sport-specific training—with a particular expertise in boxing.
Sam grew up in Westchester, NY. Prior to joining the fitness team, Sam trained at the Saw Mill Club in Mount Kisco. Sam is a Pace University graduate with a B.A. in Media & Communications and is conversant in Portuguese and Spanish.
