Personal Trainer Overview

I offer FREE professional fitness consultations including weight, body fat and fitness assessments, and basic fitness and nutrition planning to reach goals. I am mobile, and also have a studio available to train privately. I have very competitive rates and discounts for larger packages. I am NASM certified and have success stories/reference letters from previous clients.

Training Philosophy

I believe that you cannot undue in the gym what has been done with your diet. Your nutrition is 70-80% of your fitness success no matter what your goals. I believe eating healthy includes eating REAL food. (unprocessed as much as possible). I am available to my clients most all hours, as many require that kind of support from a coach/trainer. I enjoy participating in events with my clients and creating a support group among all clients whenever possible. I create an individualized program for each client based on their current level of fitness and the goals we have set together. We progress slowly building balance, stability and strength and monitor our progress toward goals every 3 weeks, consistently.

Education

I have a Masters degree in Education, A CPT from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), I am DotFit certified, and have my CPR/AED certificate. I have 7 years of experience working in a Physical Therapy setting. I am currently pursuing a Fitness Nutrition Specialist certification through NASM. (estimated June 2016).
