I believe that your body holds deep, inherent wisdom. It can guide your food choices better than any influencer, doctor, or dietitian. Eating disorders, obsessive thoughts about food, misunderstood medical diagnoses such as PCOS, and social pressures can all make it incredibly difficult to tune into this internal wisdom. Add to this the endless nutrition information all around us, and food understandably becomes a source of fear, shame, and anxiety. My mission is to connect you to your body’s wisdom so that you feel empowered and peaceful around food. You can learn to trust your body again, and your body can learn to trust you.
In our sessions, we will use curiosity and compassion to identify the internal and external barriers that keep you stuck in your relationship with food or unable to nourish yourself. I’ll provide nutrition and (if needed) supplement recommendations to guide you as your body finds balance and you re-learn what hunger, fullness, and satiety feel like.
I'll also use principles of IFS and nervous system regulation to gently guide you toward your goals. I will never recommend a restrictive diet or weight loss. You will lead the way as we get your mind and body aligned so that you can feel confident fueling yourself without fear. If my approach feels aligned with your needs, I would love to hear from you!
