I became a massage therapist many years ago as an off-shoot from a background in Occupational Therapy rehabilitation. It became clear to me back then that pain in general had to be dealt with before anything else could improve. Now also as a massage therapist, in addition to therapeutically focused massages, I also do quite a bit of relaxation work for stress relief and overall good health and enjoyment. An hour massage can really set you right! I care deeply about every person I work with. Together with the client I like to customize a plan for immediate and longer term outcomes to get the best possible result with each visit. Regular, consistent massage is really important. On a personal note, I am a mom of two all-grown-up kids, and a new first time grandma. I enjoy travel, biking, going to farmer's markets and of course, playing with my granddaughter.
