Massage is not only for those with disposable income. Self-care should not just be saved for special occasions. The path to your best you is an ongoing journey and I want to help you along your way. Wellness is an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness is more than being free from illness, it is a dynamic process of change and growth. ?I’ve opened Jennifer Collins Massage as a way to share the benefits of my particular philosophy of attaining and maintaining wellness.  My practice doesn’t feel like a business. I am not a business woman. I am a healer. You are a human being that wants to make a change, even if the change is just feeling better, and I want to help. I believe in giving you the massage that is perfect for you, with care, dignity, and the intention to heal.A massage by me is like no other. I use energy work throughout to help calm your nervous system, making it easier to work on your body at a deeper level without the pain typically associated with a deep tissue massage. I incorporate salt packs and warm towels into every massage, and utilize other tools, like bamboo, hot stones, cups, and aromatherapy with no additional expense. At the conclusion of the massage, you will not be pressured into buying packages or memberships, just asked if you’d like some tea.I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Health Education from UNCW and have been a Certified Health Education Specialist. I am a skeptical energy worker, but I believe in everything I practice- even if science hasn’t caught up with it yet. (Ask me about peer-reviewed articles on Reiki, Quantum Touch, and Healing Touch.. there are a few and there are more studies currently in progress). I have studied the integration of Eastern and Western medicine while in China, and am continually learning about new ways to improve your health- and would love to talk to you about them (I’ve probably printed out a few of those studies too).
