Fatemeh Takestani

My name is Fatemeh, and I’m a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and Manual Lymphatic Drainage practitioner with a lifelong passion for anatomy, healing, and hands-on therapeutic work. I believe that every body has a story and I’m here to help yours feel better, move better, and live with less pain. “To me, the body is more than mechanics; it’s a story and I listen with my hands.” Before I became a Neuromuscular Therapist, I spent over 30 years as a graphic designer and illustrator. As an artist, I was always fascinated by the human form-muscles, bones, and movement. My father, also an artist, nurtured this curiosity from a young age, encouraging me to study anatomy with care and creativity. What started as drawing turned into deeper exploration. I realized that beyond visual beauty, there was a living language under the skin. Over time, this love for anatomy evolved into a desire to feel and understand the body through touch. That passion led me to therapeutic bodywork and the healing potential of soft tissue manipulation. Now, as a certified Neuromuscular Therapist I confidently specialize in relieving chronic and acute pain through detailed, informed bodywork. My passion is helping people feel at ease in their bodies again - whether from injury, illness, or the wear and tear of daily life. With deep knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and therapeutic touch, each session is custom-designed for your healing journey.
