Welcome to Madrona Massage and Wellness. My name is Holly Bard and I have been a certified massage therapist since 2009. I have experience performing massage in high end Spas, Google/Tech, and Chiropractic settings. I also taught anatomy and massage at National Holistic Institute for 3 years as a Mentor. I specialize in intuitive care, pain relief, injury rehabilitation, prenatal massage and health education. I will work with your individual needs and concerns, along with my intuitive touch to address specific concerns, areas of pain and tension, range of motion restrictions and chronic stagnation. Using deep tissue, trigger point, myofascial techniques, Thai & Shiatsu stretching techniques, and compassion, together we can increase your sense of well being, increase your range of motion and make a plan to keep you out of pain, longer. What a typical session might include; a check in, with some possible range of motion tests and questions. Questions about your goals for your massage session. Deep, relaxing pressure, trigger point therapies, stretching, hot stones, heat or ice therapies, hot towels and a home care plan. Tea, water and light snacks are always available, as well as a stretching and “tool-kit” corner with bolsters, rollers, and home care tools to try. We are inside Shoreline Station, in the Orange building, upstairs, to the left of the restrooms. Payment is available at time of booking or time of service.
