Hi, I'm Alyson! Nice to meet you!I came to functional medicine through my primary job as a pharmacist. I realized our healthcare system wasn't working. Why weren't my customers getting better? Why did they keep getting new medications? Why didn't they know how to help themselves?I decided to dedicate myself to helping others. I then realized where my real passion was: I wanted to be a health coach. Talking with people and helping them get to where they want to be in their health journey is my dream. Let me help you do what you already want to do with compassion and understanding.A little about me:I have been there, and I am still there. I have my own weight loss journey that I am still on. I was morbidly obese with my highest weight at 330lb. I was on every diet you could ever imagine, with minimal success. I had 2 weight loss surgeries and have since kept my weight off. I can help people with weight loss and accountability because I have and am still right there with you. I know how to help because I have lived this journey myself. Let's do this!
