Andrea Gooldy

I landed in Atlanta in 1995 via central NY where I grew up, one of four children, outgoing and active, primarily playing ice hockey in high school and college. After graduating from Providence College with a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a business minor, I went on to complete my master’s in counseling in 2000 from Georgia State University. Following five years in sales at Maersk Sealand, I shifted my focus to family, both in my work as a counselor for DFACS, as a parent and  parenting coach presenting Love and Logic and Scream Free Parenting workshops in group settings.My “Sporty Spice” lifestyle and good health abruptly changed at the age of 44 with debilitating atrial fibrillation and hypothyroidism compounded by peri-menopause, depression and weight gain. I know personally the slow descent to losing one’s mojo and the consequent challenge of mending the gap betweenknowingthe healthy path andtakingthe healthy path. Today, I combine my personal experience with the power of the mind body connection with my counseling background to coach others on their life-changing journey to their best self. I bring my authenticity and appreciation for personal connection to the fulfilling work of guiding individuals and small groups to discover the power of the holistic approach to health.
