Would you like to work on weight or chronic health conditions: diabetes/pre-diabetes, metabolic syndrome, hypothyroid, fibromyalgia, arthritis, skin reactions, GERD/reflux, gout, kidney stones, migraine, or brain fog? I work with you to target inflammation and food sensitivities using Integrative Nutrition Therapy combining western and complementary approaches. This regularly results in reducing or eliminating the need for medication. It repeatedly comes down to what you eat -- or don't eat — as well as stress management and exercise. My goal is to help you enjoy better health now and to reduce the risk of long-term complications.
If you are among the estimated 15-20% of the population potentially affected by food sensitivities, I offer LEAP Mediator Release Testing to help determine which foods and chemicals are problematic for you and which are likely to be safe. I also offer the Spectracell Micronutrient test. I help you interpret results and implement for positive change.
My training includes Joslin Diabetes Center's Advanced Practice Program for Nutrition Professionals; Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT); CDR Certificate in Adult Weight Management; internship at Boston Children's Hospital Medical Center; and through my background in the arts, I try to utilize the potential of relating to your visual or creative intuition.
