My mission is to decrease pain and improve freedom by working within comfort to address musculoskeletal and nervous system dysfunction. I accomplish this through skilled and innovative manual therapies aimed at getting people back to enjoying their body.I became Licensed in 2014 and quickly began focusing on clinical rehabilitative massage starting with Mountain Land Physical Therapy and then moving up to Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) where I spent 3.5 years working as part of a team in a preeminent Integrative Health and Wellness Center within HCI. I now operate my own business Ben Smith Bodywork focused on Clinical Integrative Bodywork (Orthopedic and Oncology)I am passionate about providing effective relief rooted in evidence-informed practice and always strive to move clients towards independence and increased self-efficacy especially related to personal pain management, stress management, and expression of health and vitality.I love working with anyone and everyone regardless of difference, ability, background, race, sexual orientation or gender expression - everyone is welcome and will be respected and in control of their experience.
