About
As a licensed massage therapist and bodyworker, Tyler Kragerud practices a whole-body treatment based approach when helping clients reach their health and wellness goals. He has gained valuable clinical experience working alongside physical therapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, medical doctors, acupuncturists, naturopaths, personal trainers, and a variety of bodyworkers. Tyler recently spent 7 months working as a medical massage therapist at the Oregon Health & Sciences University treating a variety of complex patients as a provider in the Comprehensive Pain Center. This experience brought to life his passion for helping people who have been through traumatic accidents or injuries such as motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, concussions, whiplash, and sports injuries. Tyler specializes in assessing and correcting muscle imbalances, myofascial pain, and stress-holding patterns. He uses a variety of techniques to personalize each session including myofascial release, trigger point release, cranial manipulation, deep tissue, FST (fascial stretch therapy), and acupressure. Tyler has been able to help clients who have suffered from chronic orthopedic issues such as hip, knee, back, shoulder, and neck pain as well as headache, migraine, postural, and lymph drainage issues.
