About
I have dealt with chronic back pain and headaches since I was a child. Over the years, I saw multiple doctors and medical specialists and found very little relief outside of being dependent on medication for pain management. After many years, my neurologist recommended that I try massage therapy. I went to see the massage therapist that he and his wife went to on a regular basis. My wife and I have now been seeing her for about 15 years. I have experienced relief for the first time in my life due to the various bodywork techniques that we have tried, all without resorting to medications. I recently stopped working in healthcare support after 20 years. One of the things that I learned there was that our modern healthcare system limits itself by only offering a narrow set of options for health and wellness. This is why I became a massage therapist. I want to be able to offer people a way out of the cycle of pain and relapse without drugs or surgery.
