Certified in Esalen® Massage, my style is slow, graceful, artful, and meditative. I incorporate strokes that cover vast surface areas of the body at one time, approaching the body like sculpture, and bringing a multidimensional quality to the massage so that my clients can feel truly held.My practice is meant to increase full-body awareness and connectedness, minimize discomfort associated with physical touch, and to facilitate imaginative expansion. I have found that a greater sense of connection–within the somatic body and beyond–helps release tension, pain, tightness, and cerebral blocks.Inspired by the Feldenkrais and Gestalt practices my work is intuitive, psychosomatic, and deep. I use a variety of pressures, musculoskeletal techniques, and dance-like rhythms to help clients access their calmer, spontaneous, more-connected states of self. I practice Deep Tissue, with an intuitive, thoughtful approach. Massage can be healing, relaxing, or even invigorating. I’m here to help you articulate just what quality of touch is needed to bridge the gaps between your emotional, mental, and somatic experiences.
