Im a NY licensed massage therapist with 25 yrs of experience in the field in many varied settings. The heart of my practice is a modality called Phenomenal Touch, which I also teach. While Phenomenal Touch originated completely with its founder Leslie Bruder, people have described it as Watsu(water massage) on a table and compared aspects of it to Thai massage, Tragger, Myofacial Release, even contact improv. I strive to approach each client with deep respect and aim to follow the unwinding of the body concentrating on the areas that require the most attention. Every massage is as unique as the person on the table at that moment. In Phenomenal Touch we work with the body 3 dimensionally (both sides of the body at the same time), use gravity to achieve depth, employ stretches and momentem to open joints and relieve muscle pain and contraction.
