I focus on the postural, or deep, muscles of the body.  Addressing the passive tension of the body, rather than the areas which the clients 'tells' me are tight, seems to have a more lasting effect.  Cranial work usually makes up a bulk of my treatment, but only if it shows up as the tightest area.  Children, and infants, have just as much tension as adults, so consider making an appointment for them as well!
