ROOM to BREATHE was created to be an oasis from the hectic, ever-changing world. A place of stillness where you can catch your breath. Whether you are receiving a nurturing massage or taking part in a yoga, meditation or life enrichment class, the intent is the same; give yourself room to breathe. Clare opened the doors of her business in 2008. She received her massage certification from Centerpoint Massage and Shiatsu School and Clinic in 2008. Her yoga certification was earned from the Yoga Center of Minneapolis in 2009.Clare’s massage style employs listening hands, healing intent, proper breathing retraining and skillfully applied massage techniques. She infuses massage with yoga concepts such as deep breathing, mindfulness, and body awareness. It is a gentle and effective practice for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. Yoga and Meditation with Clare blend gentle, restorative poses, focused breath work, deep stretching and moving meditation techniques. Her calming voice and gentle instruction provide the perfect atmosphere for self-renewal and personal growth. Clare has worked with varied populations from elementary aged children to older adults and those with learning and mobility challenges. She has special training in trauma-sensitive yoga or interoception. Her experienced, motivational instruction is perfect for those beginning a life enrichment path or those more experienced, who wish to deepen their practice.
