Myofascial Integration Massage is a comprehensive treatment technique that incorporates the use of several modalities including muscle tissue mobilization, myofascial release, flexibility programs, muscle energy techniques, psychological counseling and the integrative use of Restorative ExerciseTM in a unique combination to restore a person to their ideal three dimensional orientation, allowing the body to function at its peak physiological state.  This intense program can sometimes bring to the surface unresolved emotional or psychological trauma that often causes physiological dysfunction, and with it discovery and release, allows the body to reorganize, change, and improve its function in a state of improved consciousness.  This whole body approach allows the patient to access multiple avenues of physiological restoration and produces more consistent and effective results and often the patient is enabled to take quantum leaps in improved pain free function and biomechanical freedom. MIM treatment is an individualized treatment plan examining the unique conditions and symptoms of the individual.  MIM has the ultimate goal of restoring to the patient their maximum three-dimensional relationship to gravity and range of biomechanical movement. As a certified Restorative Exercise SpecialistTM, I also instruct my clients wtih exercises that help to maintain proper body alignment and movement.
