Mary Clevidence, FMCHC, NBC-HWCI am a Functional Medicine Health Coach certified by the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (FMCA), the global leader in coach training programs, in collaboration with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).I am also a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach by the NBC-HWC (National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach) and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Toledo.More than thirty years’ experience coaching and mentoring in the corporate world has helped me to my build    empathetic, caring relationships conducive to making positive behavioral changes. Understanding clients’ strengths and challenges helps me facilitate our most logical path to move forward together.I am passionate about helping clients accomplish their unique goals. I care deeply about helping people feel their best, believe strongly in a comprehensive, collaborative approach to their health plan, and above all, I have experienced the benefits of Functional Medicine in my own healing journey.  I learned first-hand the value of working collaboratively with my coach to find root causes using an integrated, holistic approach to restore balance and manage my symptoms.As a health coach, I empower each client to take charge of their health, providing more in-depth and individual guidance than is typically available through standard healthcare. To that end, I frequently help my clients implement doctor-recommended lifestyle changes to protect against major health issues. As they strengthen their sense of awareness by initiating, executing and controlling their health strategies, clients often feel more capable of making healthy choices by creating their own roadmap to wellness.
