I’m Lana, Your Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach!From my early 20s, I developed a deep passion for nutrition and a healthy lifestyle after having my first child. The experience of nurturing a new life ignited my curiosity about the profound impact of food and lifestyle choices on overall well-being. This personal journey led me to explore holistic nutrition, movement, and functional wellness strategies, which I have incorporated into my daily life ever since.Before transitioning into health coaching, I spent over 20 years in the financial industry, helping people manage their finances. While rewarding, my more profound passion for health and wellness led me to pursue functional medicine coaching.. While I found great fulfillment in helping people manage their finances, which is the career I retired from after over 20 years, I increasingly felt drawn to the health and wellness world. My lifelong passion for nutrition and well-being, and a desire to directly impact people’s health, ultimately led me to pursue a new path in functional medicine coaching. Although my professional background was not initially related to the wellness industry, my lifelong interest in studying the human body, mind, and, most importantly, food and nutrition has remained constant. After retiring from my previous career, I expanded on this lifelong journey and formally pursued my passion for functional health and wellness.Over the years, I have applied my knowledge of nutrition, movement, and emotional well-being in my personal life by adopting a whole-foods nutrition approach, daily exercise, and mindfulness practices. I also shared insights with family and friends, helping them make healthier choices. My commitment to a balanced, health-focused lifestyle naturally evolved into a desire to help others, inspiring me to pursue a career in health coaching. As a Functional medicine-certified health Coach, I specialize in guiding clients toward sustainable health improvements through personalized lifestyle interventions. I support individuals in optimizing their nutrition, movement, stress management, and restorative sleep through evidence-based functional medicine principles.My coaching philosophy centers on empowering clients to take charge of their health through practical, achievable steps tailored to their unique needs. I work closely with clients to improve dietary habits, incorporate mindful movement, and manage stress effectively, fostering a supportive environment that empowers them to achieve lasting health transformations.
