Hello!  My name is Katie and I am the heartbeat behind Unconventionally Healthy.  I have studied with the leading functional medicine and women's health experts and come equipped with the tools, resources, education, and personal experience to help me guide women to optimal health.  I have personally walked the path of a chronic disease diagnosis leaving me feeling overwhelmed, hopeless and broken.  I did not let my diagnosis be my final prognosis.As a passionate advocate for women's health, I've dedicated my career to helping women take control of their health outcomes.  With a background in Geology and Geological Engineering, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, logical reasoning, compassion, and personalized care to every client I work with.My approach to health coaching is rooted in functional medicine principles, which means I focus on addressing root causes of hormonal imbalances and other health concerns rather than simply masking symptoms.  Through specifically tailored 1:1 support, I work collaboratively with my clients to create a customized plan to work through specific health challenges, restore balance to hormones, boost energy levels, and reclaim vitality.I support women at all stages of life: menarche -> post-menopause. These are some of the common conditions I work with: Chronic Illness and Autoimmune Disease, Thyroid Disease, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, Dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation), Amenorrhea (absent menstruation), Uterine Fibroids, Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD).
