I became interested in natural healing techniques a long time ago. Considering the potential side effects of medicines commonly prescribed, I thought it worthwhile to study alternative methods of healing. Initially, I trained in Shiatsu and Massage Therapy, I graduated from the New England School of Acupuncture in 1984. My post-graduate studies involved extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine.

I have been the director of the Acupuncture and Herbal Clinic in Beverly, MA, since 1984. I recently became an Acupuncturist on Staff at the Complementary Care Center at the Health Alliance Hospital in Fitchburg, MA. At this location, I treat patients at the cancer center for side effects of cancer treatments and various symptoms associated with cancer.

In 1993, I was fortunate enough to receive further training in Beijing and witnessed Herbal Doctors prescribe remedies in several hospitals there. In 2011, I became an instructor for “AcuPracticeSeminars”, a 200 hour-long certification course for Chiropractors and Physicians seeking training in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
