Personal Trainer Overview
I train my clients in a studio rather than a big noisy gym. I'm committed to fighting obesity and improving lives through proper training. Activities of daily living can be made much less difficult with proper training. I have a background in Martial Arts and Yoga, and use some techniques from this area
Training Philosophy
I believe that motivating clients to stick with a training program is most important. So I will design a program that will be enjoyable, productive and rewarding. For me, strength training was most rewarding when I was younger. In later years I found the rewards in Martial Arts classes and a regular Yoga practice.
Education
Martial Arts experience: Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Tai Chi, Karate. Earned a Black Belt in Karate in 2007.
Yoga Styles: Power, Iyengar, Hatha, Yin
Bio
I started out as a skinny teen when I discovered bodybuilding. I gained lots of weight which improved my appearance and boosted my self confidence. At that point I was hooked. I went on to include running to control my weight and later martial arts and yoga.
