I specialize in helping people manage their weight and/or weight related health concerns or with patients that have gastrointestinal complications. I also specialize in individuals that are new to exercise or looking to begin exercise and create long-term lifestyle changes. I do not use a one diet fits all approach. I utilize the latest cutting-edge research to help my clients understand not just what to change, but how to change it. My ideal client would be an individual who is sick of nutrition gimmicks and is looking to change their eating habits for long-term success.
I also specialize in worksite wellness and health promotion. I consult various businesses throughout the greater Austin area and provide wellness programming from webinars to nutrition and exercise classes.
My practice is unique because of my education and background. I have a BS in Clinical Nutrition, an MS in Human Nutrition, and PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education. I have also worked as a Certified Personal Trainer for over 10 years.
