Over my many years of providing Nutrition Therapy, I have learned how complex most people are. This has led me to continue my education beyond my Nutrition degrees into various certifications, including Diabetes Education, Integrative & Functional Nutrition, as well as the Monash FODMAP program. I have had a lot of success with guiding clients with IBS on Low FODMAP diets. Additionally, I recently completed a Digestive Wellness program in order to help with a growing number of clients with other GI concerns. As an Integrative Nutritionist, I use assessment tools that help me to look at clients in a more comprehensive way.
Being kind and compassionate to my clients is very important to me, and I derive a lot of satisfaction from helping them move from where they are towards achieving their health and nutrition goals. Allowing clients ample time to express their concerns and ask questions is also important to me.
I enjoy educating as needed, whether on basic nutrition, a specific therapeutic meal plan, nutritional supplements, etc. I also make myself available between appointments for clients to check in with any questions/concerns or to report changes.
