I am committed to finding the root cause of illness by utilizing a whole body approach not just focusing solely on presenting symptoms. In NY State there are no regulations on Naturopathic Doctors meaning anyone can call themselves a Naturopathic Doctor (scary I know!), even those who haven't gone through true medical training from an accredited medical school and have taken national board exams to become licensed can be called a Naturopathic Doctor. Before attending medical school, I was active in plant research at Cornell University where my work is published in several scientific journals. My introduction to natural medicine occurred at Cornell and was the culmination of interest in science and medicine combined with a deep appreciation for plant science, the environment, and alternative healing.
