My journey to naturopathic medicine was a personal one -- it has changed our lives! I am a licensed family practice physician, specializing in using herbal medicine, homeopathic remedies, acupuncture, and other healing methods to treat disease. I specialize in balancing thyroid and hormones, allergies, and addressing digestive concerns. Your organ systems are all part of the same body, so it makes sense that we holistically support ALL the body functions. Your body is already doing so many things -- it's metabolizing and digesting and detoxifying and healing and filtering. Sometimes it just isn't doing those things optimally.

Symptoms arise when some part isn't working well. With naturopathic medicine, the goal is to restore function and help your body heal. As we do, soon the symptoms go away. NOT because we are suppressing them, but because there is no longer dysfunction. It's really amazing to see.

I am often asked about insurance. Insurance plans will not cover your office visit, but they often cover any bloodwork that I order. I will always give you an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. I can also process HSA (health savings account) cards.
