Katie Brewer-Berres

I specialize in geriatric massage visiting elderly clients at senior living apartments or facilities where I offer customized sessions of 20 to 60 minutes. I have experience working with clients with a wide range of conditions including cancer, dementia, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, paralysis, diabetes, heart conditions, anxiety, trauma, and grief. I discovered massage therapy in my forties and found it to be healing and energizing, giving me renewed purpose to enter this new stage of life.  I went for my massage license to share this beautiful form of care with others, especially those who are also experiencing their golden age.I received my diploma in Massage Therapy from the Milwaukee School of Massage in December, 2015. Originally, I worked in the field of education, obtaining a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in Special Education and a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Instructional Design and Technology. I am happy to have made the transition to massage therapy and enjoy connecting with others, sharing my knowledge, and learning from them in return.
