Sarah Smith

A Morgantown, WV native, Sarah Smith-Paugh is a licensed massage therapist and healer at heart. For over eight years, Sarah has focused her work on Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy Massage, Aromatherapy and Reflexology. A Reiki Master, she believes her true calling is in the practice of energy work, an ancient healing art. Sarah continuously expands her expertise by taking experiences in healthcare and combines them with her experience and passion for healing practices such as breath-work, yoga and meditation. She is also a graduate of Moonbow Yoga’s 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program in November 2018 and a 2022 Shiva Shakti School’s Yoga Nidra program. Sarah is now a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. It’s amazing what our bodies are capable of doing if we just take the time to promote relaxation and balance.”Previously, Sarah was Project Manager of a genetics and genomics research study at the WVU School of Nursing, funded by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing Center for Regulatory Excellence. She also worked in Washington, DC for nearly seven years in environmental conservation and community relations. Sarah earned her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in 2004, receiving her BS in Journalism, specializing in public relations; and received a MS Health Communication from Boston University in 2010. She is also a 2014 graduate from the Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy.Sarah loves the outdoors, hiking, camping, bluegrass music, and catching Pearl Jam on every tour.Certifications: West Virginia Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified in doTerra AromaTouch Technique, Yoga Alliance member and American Massage Therapy Association member.
