In a session, I work to address your most immediate body issues, as well as bring a whole-body focus that feels integrating, connecting. The approach also fosters greater body awareness and enhnanced ability self-regulate--to relax and inhibit muscle tension through breath and gentle attention.The Trager Approach, which is the primary modality I use, engages passive movement in a spirit of inquiry--stretching and rocking with varying rhythms--all very in tune with your body's own cues. Sessions can be deeply relaxing, opening, or invigorating, depending on the client's mood/nervous system and goals for the session.
