Ara Towns

I am a Indiana University Alum, with a BS in Kinesiology, Exercise Science and minor in Public Health Education and Promotion. I performed in college as a D-1 Track athlete, becoming an All-American and Big Ten 100m Champion. I started practicing massage therapy in 2006 while working as a Physical Therapy Aide under the direction of a Licensed Physical Therapist. Over the last 15 yrs, I have coached High School age athletes, Marathoners and Para-Athletes in track and field while also providing strength and conditioning and injury prevention programs. I pursued by Massage Therapy license in 2021 and graduated with highest honors in my class. I am a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner, who specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue/Neuromuscular, Sports, Hot Stone, Prenatal, Body Polish/Wraps, Reflexology, Spa, Aromatherapy, and Chair Massage. I am also a Certified Theragun Massage Practitioner. I look forward to working with you and/or athlete(s) on your fitness journey at any level.
