Quality and Affordable Healthcare for Everyone...

After four distinct careers in customer service, information technology, higher education, and project management, I needed one final career change to see me through to retirement that was unique, challenging, and rewarding for not just me, but those who I helped, and it turned out that licensed massage therapy was just what I was looking for. Traditional massage therapy, and more recently medical massage, allows me to work in the healthcare field, earn a good living, and help others feel better physically and emotionally every time they seek my help with pain management and relief.

From "Wannabe" to Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP)...

I began my licensed massage therapy career by attending a Dallas / Fort Worth area massage school where I completed a 500-hour program including a 50-hour internship where I learned the basics, then sat and passed the national exam (first attempt) so I could apply for my state licensed massage therapy (LMT) credentials. As a requirement of ongoing state licensure, I have completed continuing education courses and programs in prenatal, oncology, dry cupping, hot stone, and sports massage modalities, with more recent completion in a year-long medical massage practitioner (MMP) program.

My Specialized Techniques and Conditions I Practice...

Since 2017, I have gained training and experience in massage techniques involving Relaxation (Swedish), Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Chair, Hot Stone, Dry Cupping, and now Medical (Orthopedic) Massage. For those experiencing such conditions as Arthritis, Bruxism, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Chronic Bursitis, Frozen Shoulder, Lumbago, Migraines / Headaches, Muscle Strains, Plantar Fasciitis, Rotator Cuff Strain, Sciatica, Tennis / Golfer's Elbow, or Whiplash, my education and experience in medical massage can help reduce or even eliminate these conditions, just to name a few.

On a Personal Note...

I have been married to my spouse since 2015 where we live with our two, four-legged furry friends. We enjoy our part-time careers in massage therapy (me) and information technology (my spouse). In our spare time we enjoy good food with family and friends, travel, and getting to know new people with similar interests.
