Heather Collazo

I retired from the Navy January 2017 after 27 years of combined service. I have been in healthcare/nursing my entire adult life. I trained in Healing Touch early on in my career, recognizing the importance of therapeutic touch and massage while working with oncology patients. Formal massage training had always been a goal of mine throughout my Navy career. After leaving the active duty component for the reserves I finally had the opportunity to pursue my formal training. I graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy in Jacksonville, FL in April 2008. My children and I moved to Tennessee in June of 2008. I have worked in a day spa and as a LPN instructor since moving here. I have provided concierge massage since 2009. In 2015 I opted to take some time off from the daily grind of work to focus on mine and my family’s health and well-being. Recently an opportunity presented itself when some nursing colleagues decided to open a med-spa in our community focusing on a holistic approach to the client population. I am looking forward to working with them as an independent therapeutic massage provider within their med-spa.I am trained in Neuromuscular Therapy, Prenatal massage, Sports Massage, Orthopedic Massage, Swedish Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Essential Oils. I continue my education in various massage and spa techniques. I am looking forward to working with you in the future! - Heather
