Denise Real

Denise is a Pennsylvania native and two-time graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Sociology and Psychology. After moving to Oregon in 2003, Denise attended Oregon School of Massage, where she received certification in Massage Therapy and Reiki. During her time in Oregon, Denise worked as an LMT, became certified as a Vinyasa Yoga teacher and received certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher. Denise’s career and experience is as rich & textured as her massage experience, spending many years in social work & non-profit settings as well as horticulture & landscaping. The transition to a career in the healing arts has included full-time work in high-traffic spas, healing retreats and private practice. Denise’s massage training & experience ranges from medical massage techniques to Eastern styles such as Shiatsu and Thai massage to subtle energy work modalities, such as Reiki. Denise’s current professional goal is certification in Craniosacral Therapy. After 17 years living in the Pacific Northwest, Denise returned to Pennsylvania in 2020 and is currently a full-time member of the team at Live Well Adjusted in Turbotville, PA as a Massage Therapist and in private practice at the Center for Body Balance in Williamsport, PA.
