Sarah Breischaft

I have been often asked why I wanted to become a massage therapist.   In 2005, I graduated college with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Equine Reproduction. I spent many years in the animal field and loved my work, but it began to take a toll on my body, both mentally and physically.    Fast forward, in 2016, I became a single mother and realized that i had to be there for my daughter and that I needed to take a real assessment of my profession. Instead of the “Western Medicine” approach, I began researching homeopathic and alternative therapeutic treatments.  I became very involved in my local chiropractic and wellness center and finally made an appointment with a wellness spa for therapeutic massage. From that point on, I met a woman who had since become my mentor. My life has been changed and greatly impacted for the better.  I learned to start dealing with everyday stress and cope with life in a more therapeutic and healthy fashion. I wake up in the morning and don’t feel as though I needed to go right back to bed. I feel like my life has been given back to me. I had found my inspiration.   This was the point in my life where I realized that I wanted to be in a position where I could help make other individual lives better. I want to be able to make people feel relaxed and therapeutic in a compassionate and professional setting. I loved my previous education and career, but now have begun to find such a new zest for life and human interaction.   I am proud to say I graduated in 2019 from the Philadelphia School of Massage and Bodyworks. I started my career right off at Chrome Salon in Media, PA and love every second of it!  Thank you for reading.
