Carol discovered her passion for bodywork while working as a Physical Therapist Assistant specializing in pelvic health at Bethany Therapeutic Associates. After seeing time and time again the immense power physical touch can play while recovering from injury, she was moved to continue her journey as a bodyworker and enrolled at East West College of the Healing Arts for massage therapy.Her experience as a physical therapy provider not only instilled a deep understanding of the physical and emotional demands that recovering from injury requires, but also the necessity of making a life-long commitment to the prevention of re-injury and general wellness. Carol is committed to supporting people on their own journey back to health and wellness in every stage of life.Carol specializes in relaxation and therapeutic massage including techniques such as swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point release, PNF, sports massage, joint mobilizations, manual stretching, therapeutic exercise, cupping and tool assisted myofascial release (ASTYM certified). Through her work at Bethany as a Physical Therapist Assistant, she has advanced training in work with clients through all stages of pregnancy, male and female pelvic health, chronic and persistent pain conditions, as well as trauma informed care.
