About
Vivian is a licensed Massage Therapist who has been in the health and fitness industry for 10 years. Her passion for fitness began in her teens when she fell in love with body building and power lifting. She received her certification as a personal trainer in 2014 and then joined the Army in 2015 as a medic. She began to struggle with chronic back pain preventing her from performing basic exercises causing her to receive a medical discharge. Wanting to avoid surgery at such a young age she discovered yoga and stretching and how it helped to relieve 90% of her pain. In 2019 she received her license as a Massage Therapist followed by her certification as a Stretching and Flexibility Specialist. She wanted to focus her practice on injury prevention and pain management due to her personal experience with pain and journey to self healing. Vivian specializes in a form of bodywork called structural integration. Structural integration focuses on manipulating the connective tissue, called fascia, throughout the body in order to improve posture and alleviate pain. Using a holistic approach to find the root cause of pain she integrates stretching with massage techniques to overall improve mobility, flexibility, and stability. Vivians approach to bodywork can help those suffering with chronic pain, athletes looking for maintenance or rehab and individuals seeking overall wellness. Vivian also uses high tech guided PEMF therapy to help stimulate muscles, improve nerve function, reduce swelling, decrease pain and so much more.
