About
Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a mom, pharmaceutical scientist, yoga teacher, marathoner, personal trainer and yes....a massage therapist. I earned my B.S. degree in Biology from Morgan State University in 2002 and soon after, began working the pharmaceutical industry as a scientist. Along the years I fell in love with running, completing my first half marathon in 2009. Since that race I have gone on to complete numerous additional half marathons, marathons and even a 50K. While racking up all these miles (and while living with lupus) I started practicing yoga and getting regular massage to keep my body in optimum running condition. As good as I was feeling I realized that I wanted others to feel good too, so in 2016 I became a yoga teacher followed by completing massage therapy school in 2021. There is a special place in my heart for the running community and those individuals like me who have a chronic, inflammatory autoimmune illness and I have found a way to help runners with injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as helping those suffering from chronic inflammation find relief.
