hello! I became an LMT in 1989. When I attended massage school there were only two schools in all of New York State that offered Massage Therapy. I am still doing the work twenty-five  years later and I still love it. I am now licensed in Florida as well, I have become nationally certified and in May of 2014 I became a personal trainer so that I can suggest exercises and stretches to my clients within scope-of-practice requirements. I have also recently become an approved provider of continuing education by the national board and I am working to have NYS approval by the end of this year. Massage therapy is my full time job and it is what the  rest of my life revolves around, it is what gives my life meaning and interest. Massage is indicated on so many levels, and, it continues to be satisfying to be able to lend-a-hand (so to speak) into the lives of others.
