David Bennett

Welcome to the Mind & Muscle Bodyshop, where mind and muscle meet relief! My name is David Bennett and I am the sole owner and massage therapist here! (License# 032440) To give you a little background about me: I received my education in Massage Therapy from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY in 2020. I first found my passion for massage while earning my Associates Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from SUNY Broome in 2017 when given a short introductory course on massage. After working for some time as a PTA, I decided to go back to school to earn my education and license as a massage therapist to better treat my patients, and the rest is history!

With an education in both Physical Therapy and Massage Therapy, I utilize my knowledge and training to bring my clients a well rounded experience of both a physically healing and recovery focused massage while also providing a mentally relaxing and calming environment to de-stress and unwind.

My sessions are personalized to each clients needs as no two bodies are the same. I am big on communication to ensure the client gets the care they want and need. There's nothing worse than paying to get a massage to fix specific issues, and the therapist doesn't listen, does what they want, and you feel like you iust wasted your money when it's over as you have the same issues walking out as you did walking in, so here, client-therapist communication is a priority.

When you receive a massage, it's not just your body that benefits, it's your mind as well! Whether it's a deep tissue bodywork appointment to eliminate knots and adhesions, a stretch focused session to improve flexibility and range of motion, or a calming and therapeutic massage designed to help you relax and escape the stresses of everyday life for a while, I am happy and excited to get to work on making you feel your best!
