James S. Green

Dr. Jim Green earned his Massage therapy degree from Potomac Myotherapy Institute in Maryland in 1983 and is certified through the NCBTMB and MBLEx. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania in 1988, completed the Doctorate degree of Chiropractic at Life University in Georgia in 2015 and is Board certified through the NBCE. He finished his Masters degree in Acupuncture at the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine/NYCC in New York in 2019 and is Board certified through the NCCAOM. He has been a member of the AMTA since 1983, including the state chapters of MD, PA, FL, GA, and currently NY and received his most recent recognition pin for his 40 years of membership in 2023. He started his CST curriculum with the Upledger Institute in 1985 and went to the Advanced 2 level. In 1989, he worked at the Upledger Foundation's Brain and Spinal Cord Center as a CST therapist for 5 years and had his own clinic practice at UI. By 1990, he was teaching for the Upledger Institute where he taught a multitude of classes over the course of his 12 year tenure. He was also a tester for both the Techniques and Diplomate levels of UI certification, and was head of the CST-2 and Pediatrics classes for UI. He developed the CST for Animals course while at UI. In 2003, he started Acorn Seminars, teaching CST while also maintaining a clinic practice specializing in craniosacral therapy which now also includes Acupuncture and Chiropractic.
