Kalalea was formally educated at New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts, and has completed multiple apprenticeships. Her initial training in healing arts began at age five, learning & practicing techniques to keep her Mom mobile & out of pain. She began her professional practice in 2000, and continues her studies in healing arts to this day.Her current practice draws foundationally from traditions of Hawaii, Ayurveda & Reiki, as well as incorporating Western practices of Swedish, trigger point therapy & myofascial release.
