Toni-Ann Accardi

Toni-Ann Accardi, founder of Recover Bodywork, is a massage and bodywork therapist dual licensed in New Jersey (#18KT00603400) and New York (#028434). She is passionate about educating and empowering her clients to take a proactive approach to their overall health and wellness.

• Toni-Ann completed the Extended Professional Massage Therapy Program and graduated from Cortiva Institute with honors recognizing academic excellence. She is educated in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology, clinical orthopedic assessment, and the application of advanced massage and bodywork techniques including myofascial release, neuromuscular and trigger point therapies.
• Toni-Ann is a Certified Cupping Therapy Practitioner, utilizing reverse pressure to enhance the benefits of massage and bodywork. She is a Certified Kinesiology Taping Practitioner, combining taping and movement to improve pain, posture, edema, scars, and neurological symptoms.
• Toni-Ann is a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist (MLD-C) through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies. She is trained in the Vodder Technique, allowing her to create effective treatment sequences for managing edema related to trauma, surgery, or chronic conditions. Her work supports clients dealing with fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic pain, migraines, cellulite, and lipedema. In addition to its clinical benefits, Manual Lymphatic Drainage also promotes deep relaxation and supports the body's natural detoxification processes, helping clients enhance their overall health and well-being.
• Toni-Ann also has extensive training in prenatal and postnatal massage, assisting women with the transitions their bodies undergo during and after pregnancy. Toni-Ann is an Infant Massage Therapist & Teacher, providing parents with evidence based massage strokes to promote healthy bonding and to treat common infant ailments and conditions.
• Toni-Ann is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA), adhering to a professionally recognized Code of Ethics and standards of practice. Toni-Ann continues to enhance her education and skills to further help her clients manage stress, pain, and dysfunction.
