My journey with massage started after a bike accident when friends encouraged me to seek massage for my recovery. I am a 2009 graduate of Carlson College of Massage Therapy in Anamosa, Iowa. The majority of my continuing education has been selected to build tools to help with injuries from life activities, such as working in your yard, playing with your children, or participating in your own sports. I'm a firm believer that massage should not be a painful experience, and that even helpful work can be very relaxing. I often use massage cupping during my treatments, and have most enjoyed James Waslaski's work. I also recently started taking Marjorie Brook's classes on the STRAIT Method for working with scars.
