Omaha Blue Waves Martial Arts, Fitness & Massage specializes in the total health, fitness and well being of the client. Massage services are offered for relaxation as well as therapeutic benefits such as whiplash, sciatica, fibromyalgia, stress relief, back and neck pain, TMJ and carpel tunnel syndrome. Many modalitities are available such as medical massage, sports massage, shiatsu, massage cupping, hot stone, deep tissue, positional release, neuromuscular treatment, and pre-natal massage Educational services are also available for continuing education credits for massage therapists. Michele Helaney, BS, LMT, NCTMB, CPT is a co-owner of Omaha Blue Waves. She is a licensed massage therapist in Nebraska, holds a limited branch medical license in Ohio and is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She has been practicing massage since 2004 after graduating from Oakes School of Massage Therapy. Michele has spent her career working with massage in the medical setting and taught medical massage to interns in a hospital setting. She currently teaches continuing edication courses to massage therapists in sports and medical massage as well as shiatsu, and is a highly respected therapist by area health professionals.
