Cynthia Schroer is a graduate from Wellspring School of Allied Health in Kansas City, MO. This training is a continuation of her passion for complementary modalities in the healing arts. She has her Masters of Arts in Psychology from Norwich University where she generated primary source material researching Postpartum Adjustment Disorders as a path to wholeness. She is certified in prenatal and postpartum massage and is a past board member for the Pregnancy and Postpartum Resource Center in the Kansas City area. She offers a wide variety of modalities including: Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Asian cupping, 10-step protocol for Craniosacral Therapy, Sports, and deep tissue and looks forward to being an intimate part of wellness strategies for current and new clients.Cynthia has completed an intensive foundations course in massage therapy for people undergoing cancer treatments, as well as foundational training in orthopedic massage. These specialty trainings for oncological support and orthopedic massage have equipped her to offer supportive massage for those diagnosed with cancer and their caregivers, as well as support those who have orthopedic issues. Prior to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, she was part of the oncological support services at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City.Cynthia is a mother of three wonderful adult children, an accomplished vocalist in sacred, classical, folk and jazz traditions; she is a recording artist. She loves to kayak, hike and camp, and has been a yoga practitioner since 1978.
