Ann Sorrells

My name is Ann Sorrells, and I’m a Licensed Massage Therapist from Hattiesburg, MS. I began practicing in the spring of 2018, first working for Purvis Chiropractic and The Healing Touch Day Spa before moving to The Lotus Downtown Day Spa in 2019. Along the way, I had the privilege of learning under several talented and experienced Massage Therapists, who became my mentors and lifelong friends. In 2023, I took a leap of faith and opened my own practice — Mindful Movement Massage Therapy. It’s been one of the most rewarding steps in my journey, and I’m thankful every day for the clients who trust me with their care.

Deep tissue massage had always fascinated me, but it wasn’t until I was introduced to myofascial release that I found my true calling. This technique resonated with me on a personal level, as I have dealt with injuries from fitness and stress and eventually developed a connective tissue disorder, which guided me towards this specialty. The knowledge I’ve gained through these challenges has not only allowed me to manage and correct some of my own issues, but has also empowered me to help others on their path to healing.

My greatest joy is serving my community and helping those around me find relief and balance through Massage Therapy. Whether it's relieving chronic pain, restoring mobility, or simply providing a moment of peace in a hectic world, I’m here to support your holistic wellness journey.
