Duane Wrenn

Hello my name is Duane Wrenn, I am the founder of Energetic Soul and the creator of its movement-centered wellness philosophy.

For more than 30 years, I have worked across human performance, therapeutic body work, fitness, dance, martial sciences and movement education to help people traverse the planet with greater confidence and continue participating in the activities they value.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Performance and Health Promotion and I am a Licensed Massage Therapist and TRE® provider. I continue to study the science of pain, nervous-system regulation, breath work modalities, mobility, locomotion, fascia, recovery plus Eastern and Western movement traditions. My experience as a former disciple of the Wu family tradition of Tai Chi Chuan continues to influence my emphasis on awareness, adaptability and efficient movement.

My approach is neither a medical diagnosis nor a one-size-fits-all exercise prescription.

I begin with the person: Goals, what currently feels limited, and which capacities may need support.

Form there, I use the Energetic Soul ALIGN™ process - Assess, Lengthen, Ignite, Groove, and Navigate - to build a practical pathway from restoration to life movement,

My goal is simple: help people move well, feel better, and keep doing what they love.

The best place to start is the Movement Planning Session. Your 90 minutes session will include:

• a goals and movement conversation;
• observation of relevant movement patterns;
• an initial teaching or movement experience;
• a written summary of priorities and recommended next steps.
