About
Long before I was a massage therapist, I was a chronic muscle and fascia pain patient. Massage was supportive for me in the toughest times, and I’m honored to share what I’ve learned – as a therapist, client, and patient – to help you care for your body.My massage style is slow, flowy, relaxing and effective. My techniques are rooted in a blend of Swedish and Myofascial Release. I love to provide both deep and/or lighter work, and anything in between. I’m also trained in Neuromuscular Therapy, sports massage, pediatrics and infant massage, oncology massage, and prenatal. I have special expertise in alleviating muscle pain of the neck, upper back, and head.My “first” career as a public health educator focused on health equity and LGBTQ+ health. We know many “wellness” resources have excluded or been hostile to those with marginalized identities and experiences. It is my hope and intention that whatever your body size and shape, whatever your gender, and whatever else makes you who you are, that you will feel validated and comfortable here. Thank you for trusting me with your bodywork experience.
