Jennifer Zawadzkas

My interest in the mind-body connection drew me to massage therapy over 20 years ago. After finishing my BA in Psychology at the University of Florida I attended the Florida School of Massage and in 2004 moved to the Boston area to begin practicing massage therapy. I completed a Master's degree in Holistic Mental Health Counseling in 2010. As I was working toward that licensure I accepted a position on the wellness team at Google as a massage therapist and mindfulness facilitator. I enjoyed that position for 12 years, benefiting greatly from the experience and generous education stipends. In 2023 I left Google and returned to private practice in Somerville where I integrate massage with mindfulness facilitation, somatic work and mental health considerations. Please note I am not a licensed mental health counselor and work within the appropriate scope of my massage license. My specialties include Somatic bodywork, Ashiatsu and prenatal work.
